The revision brings the parental rights to the position of June 2004. Along with numerous controversies that have occupied the courts since the revised version of the KindRG (Legislation Governing the Rights of the Child), there were a few changes to the legislation, in particular attention needs to be paid to excluding the right to challenge after consenting heterologous insemination as well as the - still restricted - right of the biological father to challenge. The wording also takes a position on the new legal political requirements, such as secret parental testing, anonymous births and comprehensive legal ruling on artificial insemination.
