These choices were the result of the many difficult circumstances we faced as a community and obstacles that were beyond my control, such as poverty within my community, limited resources, no motivation, and no guidance; except from my peers who were also like me. The insufficiency we experienced led me into practices such as ditching school and committing crimes. 31 Days of Slavery is designed to assist and educate our urban poor communities.
