Before words were were formed, each consonant had its own meaning. Words were molecules of thought--composites of the consonants that formed them. This book provides the meanings of the consonants at the roots of the Semitic and Indo-European language families. It establishes a new basis for etymology and opens new fields of study for anthropology and linguistics, both historical and applied.
