Wajdi Mouawad is the recipient of numerous awards and honours for his writing and directing, including the Governor General’s Literary Award for Drama, the 2004 Prix de la Francophonie, and the Grand Prix du théâtre awarded by the Académie française in 2009. His plays, including Incendies, Littoral, and Rêves, have been met with international acclaim.
Two-time winner of the Governor General’s Literary Award for Translation, Linda Gaboriau has translated over one hundred plays, including the works of some of Québec’s most prominent playwrights. Her translations have been published and widely produced across Canada and abroad, and have garnered numerous awards.
