A Change of Perspective

Richard is struggling with mounting debt and the family farm has fallen into disrepair. His wife, Ann, maintains a strong, distant presence whilst dealing with an increasing sense of isolation. Her world is shaken when Cate arrives, and she refuses to make life easy for her.

The village itself is reeling from the onslaught of city people, bringing with them threats to the established culture. As a seemingly endless procession of outsiders invades their community, others embrace the change. Janet ambushes her landlord-husband's savings and adds a restaurant to their pub.
