Recenzii
'Kim Knowles's reassessment of Man Ray as a film-maker is a comprehensive, lucidly argued and scrupulously documented study, written in a clear and lively style. It will provide the reader with an invaluable critical resource on Dada, Surrealism and the 1920s avant-garde cinema.' Elza Adamowicz, Queen Mary, University of London. 'Man Ray challenged the norms of cinema, to explore the erotics and poetics of the eye. Kim Knowles's detailed and original account of surrealism's most enigmatic film-lyricist puts Man Ray in context and traces the lasting influence of his filmic vision.' Al Rees, Royal College of Art.
