ABOUT THE AUTHOR DR. MYLES SAUNDERS is a Diplomat of the American Board of Neurological Surgery. Since 1998, Dr. Saunders has worked full time in the eHealth Industry, primarily in the areas of telemedicine, teleradiology and medical informatics. As a corporate advisor, he has worked closely with such companies as IdeaLab, Inc. (Pasadena, California), and Odell International (Charlotte, North Carolina) developing a wide range of online medical products and services. As Founder and Chairman of HealthAddress, Inc., he has collaborated to bring telemedicine and teleradiology services to domestic and offshore clients.Dr. Saunders has been advisor in eHealth to HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum, leader of the Emirate of Dubai, and Vice-President of the United Arab Emirates as well as multiple business and scientific leaders throughout China (PRC) and South EastAsia in areas of telemedicine and teleradiology, healthcare informatics and tele-education. Since 1996, he has Co-directed InHouse Radiology Medical Group, Inc. and InHouse Radiology Medical Management, LLC. niche providers of tele-radiology services to clinicians in private offices performing digital diagnostic imaging. He previously served as Senior Attending Surgeon in the Division of Neurological Surgery at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California, and as Vice Chairman in the Division of Neurological Surgery. He also served as Consultant in Neurological Surgery at the City of Hope National Medical Center inDuarte, California. He served as a Clinical Instructor at UCLA Schoolof Medicine, Department of Neurological Surgery, and WadsworthVeterans Administration Hospital.
