Have you ever felt like Gideon? I mean Gideon before he became 'GIDEON' The man before he took up the call of the Lord, when he was hunkered down in the wine press; fearful, insecure and having good reasons to be so. Well that's how I felt when the Lord asked me to write this book. I am a high school grad. No big ministry to claim. I am unknown and have no reason to believe that my life has significance enough to be changed to a recognized writer; In short, completely unqualified. But along with the insecurities that Gideon had, I also have his assurance that God asked me to do this. And though I have no clue what will happen, I have tried to do all that He has asked. I believe Him and what He has said to me. One person with the Lord is a majority. As insignificant and unqualified as I am, still I choose to follow through. And as the Lord answered Gideon's concerns about whether he should be 'the man to lead', the Lord has answered my concerns and convinced me to follow through and finish this process of writing a book. He often chooses the weakest ones to do His will so that when it is done, He obviously claims full praise. He uses the weak to shame the strong, the foolish to shame the wise. I am a perfect fit This book is about my journey to know Him more; to intimately know Jesus the Spirit of Prophecy. 1 Cor 14:31-32 31For you can all prophesy one by one, so that all may learn and all may be exhorted; 32and the spirits of prophets are subject to prophets; I don't think that prophecy has to be mysterious. People exercising a gift of prophecy don't have to be 'weird', do things that are out of order, or promote themselves with loud pronouncements of 'Thus says the Lord'. He is unfailingly true so we can be like Him...trustworthy, especially in prophetic wisdom, since it comes directly from Him. You may feel like Gideon before he tasted success. Yes, we are small in our own eyes...but try to see yourself through His eyes, O valiant warrior We may yet accomplish great things. Let yourself consider the possibilities as well as all of the 'keys' He is giving you.
