About the Author
Dr. Winifred Chinwendu Nweke, (nee Ejeckam), is uniquely positioned to write this book given her training and vast experience as a classroom teacher, college professor, and as an educational researcher. She and her family have lived in four states in the United States of America and her children attended private, public, county and city schools. Thus, she has unrivaled insight and a wealth of personal experience to draw from on choosing where one's children attend grade school and on monitoring children's school experiences to ensure best results.
Dr. Nweke was born to two educators. She obtained her Bachelors in Education from the University of Nigeria, Masters and Doctorate in Educational Measurement and Experimentation from the University of Ottawa, Canada; an MBA from Eastern Michigan University, and Post-doctoral fellowship from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
Dr. Nweke is currently the Assessment Director and Associate Professor in the Department of Teacher Education, Clayton State University, Morrow, Georgia. She belongs to many professional organizations, and she is a strong community leader.
Dr. Nweke is married to Dr. Ernest Nweke, a professor of Mechanical Engineering. Both have four adult children: Ms. Jennifer Nweke, Mr. Jeffrey Nweke, Ms. Nkiruka Nweke, and Mr. Chukwuma Nweke.
