Notă biografică
"Know, first, who you are, and then adorn yourself accordingly..." - Epictetus
>A graduate of York College, a part of the City University of New York, Angel qualified as a Physician Assistant and has worked in hospitals in Brooklyn, Queens and in Texas. At the moment she is having a break from work as she cares for her son but that didn't mean that she wasn't busy. Always with fond memories of her home in Guyana, Angel decided to write her first book. A Guyanese Alphabet is aimed at children and sets out to teach them something of their parents' and grandparents' homeland and the famous people who have shaped its history. In her spare time, Angel loves Formula 1 racing, hiking, skiing and reading. More often than not her adventurous side comes to the surface and she has skydived and driven across the tundra to see a glacier in the past. She also likes to travel when she has time and it is her dream to travel to all of the continents and sample the different cuisines they have to offer. Angel's hope for the future is that her children will grow up with the same love and appreciation for her homeland as she has. She is confident that her book will go some way to instill pride in them and others, and present a positive picture of those who have made Guyana the country it is today.
