Kim Larson's life was anything but idyllic, having survived a horrific childhood, her mother's death, and bullied at school. She has an epiphany and goes forward in an act of determination intent on making an impact upon graduation. She moves to a new state to attend college and leave her past behind and begins to enjoy the fruits of her labor as she starts her career.
