William H. Chafe is Alice Mary Baldwin Professor of History, former Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, and Vice-Provost of Undergraduate Education at Duke University. Harvard Sitkoff is Professor of History at the University of New Hampshire. Beth Bailey is Professor of History at Temple University.
