Since 2013, Matt has been delivering poetry and creative writing workshops to schools, galleries and museums; devising sessions for groups ranging from primary school pupils through to adult non-formal learning groups. Matt is currently the leading Creative Practitioner for primary formal learning at The Hepworth Wakefield, an ambassador for Eureka! The National Children's Museum and Poet-in-Residence at the National Coal Mining Museum for England. Recenzii
While reading this book, I found myself reminiscing for the 'good old days' of going to the cinema, the joy of pulling a sickie, and the importance of BEST friends.
Covering themes such as school, family life, friendship, bullying and technology that will resonate with teenagers (not to mention former teenagers), this warm-hearted collection of poems will move and inspire its readers, remind them they are not alone and hopefully encourage them to start writing their own poems.
