This story is a gripping account of Katie Henderson's battle and subsequent death from Lupus and the load left on her husband Horace to carry. Katie died at age 39 and left twelve children behind for her 40 year old husband to educate and raise. As part of the story, a defining moment occurs when she gives her personal kerchief to one of her sons to keep prior to her death.
