Having a passion for writing does not mean that one is necessarily good at teaching others how to write. This was the situation this author found himself in when he landed in China and found out that in addition to teaching oral English, he would be tasked with teaching English writing to university students. The book provides a semester's worth of lesson plans for many different types of writing that should be taught. It also gives ideas about how to structure the typical two hour class.
