A Lure for the Days of Yore

Autor Donielle Ingersoll
en Limba Engleză Paperback – 9 feb 2023
A new technology came to America with the discovery of some ancient inventions in France. With a large portion of the globe transitioning to "Green Energy,' it was right on time. With this technology vehicles could travel over the entire covered area using no fuel. Planes could pass through the heavens free from fossil fuels. CO2 emissions were becoming a thing of the past. The energy sources came from the heavens, from molecular activity taking place on the surface of the earth and deep underground where the magnetic forces operated. James was an engineer for the company. He was also an inventor and developed some interesting devices using this new energy source. One was a time machine. When things got too crazy in the present, he would slip back in time to the days of yore where the world was normal. He even had a soulmate from that era that he loved deeply. He could not convince himself to bring her back to a world that was under medical and social tyranny so he tried to make the best use of those past encounters. This was cut short when she disappeared in 2005 a few days before Christmas. COVID-19 had struck the world causing a disruption of nearly every facet of humanity. It was James' hope to establish a break-away society free from all the regulations where people could be normal again, like they were before COVID-19. One evening while in a dream state he discovered what he was hoping to build. The technology created a time loop that repeated every three minutes. The three minute segment came from the year 2019 before the virus. In this loop the entire nation operated as it once had only there were no people. For instance if a person needed some oil for their vehicle, or a favorite drink that was no long available because of manufacturing and supply chain breakdowns, they could enter this time loop, take what they wanted and go back in three minutes and take it again. It would replenish itself continually, over and over again. It was a virtual tree of life supplying any and everything, anyone would need or even want. The world within the time loop was vibrant and healthy. In the course of the story James has many adventures, there are close calls. His quick thinking and technical skills save his life on a number of occasions. Will he be successful in establishing this new break-away world? Humanity is at the crossroads. They will either further deteriorate into the slavery being forced upon them by the oligarchs controlling the planet or rise to the challenge and overcome those who oppose humanities continued progress into a brighter futureThe reader will get a little taste of available, green energy technology, physics and the cosmos, the ins and outs of the COVID-19 pandemic, mandates, masks and tracking apps. They will come face to face with the challenges of time travel, area 51 paranormal activity, parallel universes, the transforming power of wave technology, and break-away societies. They will also explore the potential for immortality. Is there technology available that will allow one to transfer their mind to another body or be uploaded to some storehouse of knowledge including the CLOUD and beyond? Why are there powerful forces in the world that want to keep humanity from heading into space and reaching for the stars. Humanity has so much potential. What are the one hundred or so people that rule the world hiding? Why are they afraid of the potential of the human mind and body, allowing us to become all that we can be?If you had the opportunity to go back in time to some place, where would you go? Would it be to a world before COVID-19? Was the world that much better in the days of yore?
