A task force to stop them consists of federal agents, local police, and an ATF agent. The agent, born in New York, is the son of Puerto Rican immigrants, and while he understands the terrorists' yearning for independence, he knows his duty is to stop them by any means possible.

After retiring from exporting, Ben Cherot traveled extensively, especially in Latin America, and has pursued creative writing. This is his third book.
