How can he reconcile the lovely young girl he once knew with the broken woman before him? His wife, Jane, however, has had her own demons to battle, and alcoholism is the easier of the two.

Unbeknownst to Bob, an old acquaintance of his with a grudge abused Jane's vulnerable state while he was incarcerated to get back at him, and now she's more damaged than either of them realize.

Pulling back the curtain on 1950s California, "A Piece of Quiet" examines the tragic collapse of a promising young couple's marriage and traces its fallout as their children struggle to save them both.
