A Pirate Treasure Weekend
Autor Bob Hoelzleen Limba Engleză Paperback – 11 dec 2020
Claudia has inherited a map of pirate Billy Bowlegs' hidden treasure. Skip is determined to win the Big Bend Saltwater Classic Fishing Tournament. When their paths collide, the next three days are MAYHEM
This work of fiction includes some historical narratives of Florida's Forgotten Coast, which lies in the Florida's Northwest Panhandle region. True historical facts surrounding the two characters, both known as Billy Bowlegs, but two very different people who lived at different times. One was a British sympathizer who organized Native American tribes to try and prevent the young United States from expanding West. The other was a bloody pirate who was know to kill every man, woman and child on the ships he plundered, leaving no witnesses to his atrocious crimes. For those who dream of hunting for buried treasure, this novel has you covered. And for those who love to fish, or who are wondering how this sport draws so many participants around the world, read on. The chemistry between Claudia, a single woman who has possession of an authentic pirate treasure map, and Skip, a divorced fishing fanatic, begins chilly, and warms up as the novel reveals an uncomfortable truth. And, if you are a fan of surprise endings, this tall tale is for you
