A Short History of English Literature Volume 1
Autor Arleen Ionescuen Limba Engleză Paperback – 28 feb 2012
The author of a book on the Middle Ages and Renaissance literature is inevitably the possessor of an overabundance of data. Having so many illustrious forerunners, I was inevitably influenced by the opinions of one scholar or another in ways it was not always possible to footnote. In this sense, my book makes no claim to original research, but is offered as a compendium of factual knowledge and critical interpretations. A previous version of the book was published by Editura Universitatii din Ploiesti in 2008. As this course was too big to be comfortably packed into a single volume, I decided to keep Shakespeare's and Marlowe's work for a second volume.
