U.S. Army Captain Nell Weisbach (Retired) served her country with pride for the duration of World War II, plus six months, and came home to a distinguished medical career lasting half a century. She was awarded a Bronze Star Medal, and other medals, for her service as an Army Nurse. Born in Merkel, Texas in 1919, Nell is a remarkable woman who has seen nearly a century of life, love, war, sacrifice, healing, travel, humor and, most importantly, the strength of family.
