Peter Grant, a plumber from a small country town, seeks revenge for the brutal murder of his wife. He tracks down the killer; a vicious drug dealer, Karel Dubcek, and disposes of his body. Dubcek's father sends hired killers to avenge his son's death, and Grant, and his one time lover, Marian Watson, find themselves caught up in a downward spiral of vengeance and death when Grant sets out to remove the threat, once and for all. This is the first novel in a series of three by Andrew Giles.
