Notă biografică
Mary currently makes her living as a university professor of dentistry, focusing on forensic dentistry. In this capacity, she works on cases in which teeth are the main evidence. She has also testified as an expert witness in capital murder trials and before the United States Congress on the need for scientific rigor in the courtroom. Her experiences have shown how truth can be stranger than fiction. She has a number of published academic works, all with a forensic focus, and a portion of those have received national media attention with sources such as the BBC news, The Wall Street Journal and The Washington Post. As an invited speaker, her talks center on forensic evidence and the cases she¿s been involved with. She currently lives in Buffalo, New York, with her very supportive husband who cheers her on every day, and an exceptionally spoiled cat. Throughout all this, Mary¿s life-long dream has been to write fiction. Her first crime novel is to be published November 2019.
