Back in 1985 I wasn't really given a diagonsis, but I imagine I was thought to be a manic depressive. I certainly knew myself to be extremely sensitvie, highly emotionlal and somewhat Mercurial. However, I didn't dwell too much on being told I needed to take drugs because I was busy raising my family and running a business. I knew that the label of manic depressive was at some point changed to Bipolar Disorder. Although I now accept this label of Bipolar no-one can really be labelled. In fact Bipolar doesn't really suit me very well, because it suggests I just go up and down in mood and what the professionals don't understand is that I simply follow my instincts and intuition, which means I'm as changeable as the weather. I'm also busy listening to my inner voice of course.
