A Summer Near Two Horse

Two young men, friends from boyhood, find themselves together again for what they believe will be a pleasant summer. They agree to renovate a dilapidated house for a cantankerous farmer and look forward to an enjoyable stay in the country, with fun and relaxation on weekend nights.

A third friend has achieved a lifelong goal of becoming the minister of his own church. But he finds reason to doubt his calling.

Two high-spirited young women add add a special dimension to the summer, and encourage the narrator in his quest for the girl of his dreams.

All find themselves caught up in adventure, violence, love and loss, unfolding over the course of a long-ago summer near a tiny Montana town called Two Horse.
