Members of the family Buprestidae were collected from different areas of Pakistan such as Jamshoro, Tori Phatak, Hyderabad, Karachi, Thar desert, Mithi, Naushki, Bampur, Quetta, Wah Garden, Murree, Fatehjung, Azad Kashmir, Muzafferabad, Panjkot, Qalandarabad, Swat, Kalam and Parachinar.The specimens were collected by beating branches of trees and bushes by using sweep net and hand picking methods.
