A family is forced to flee Latvia during WW11 after Fricis Straubergs is warned his name appears on Russia's "hit list." The following five years see the family housed in Displaced Person's camps in Germany. Destiny brings them to Australian Migrant Camps, where they struggle to fit in, in a land so vastly different to their homeland.
