Writing an autobiography is like taking a long journey. The difference is that you have already been there. I have spent eighty-nine years in my journey. I've had smooth sailing most of the way, but there have also been a few bumps. To me, the thing that is amazing, is how the mind can retain so many happenings over such a long stretch of time. One of my sons maintains that he can remember time spent in the womb. I'm sorry to say, I can't go back quite that far, but I can come close. I spent most of my life as a Professor of Music, with emphasis on voice and choral work. Now, not really to my surprise, because I have been writing down my thoughts for many years, I am a freelance writer with four published books, thanks to Publish America. Wonder of wonders.
