A Two-Edged Sword: A Lay Preterist's Eschatology

I was born and raised in Cherokee County, Iowa with little to no religious instruction. As an adolescent, I started attending a church youth group and began my journey with Christ. I've held jobs in food service, transportation, technical writing, and pharmaceuticals. As "average" as I am, I wish to testify to the elegant simplicity of the Holy Bible. It can be wordy and dry at times, but it tells a singular, comprehensive, fulfilling story of God's people that most Christians don't hear from the pulpit or in their Bible studies. Now, as I recline on my porch enjoying the Florida sunrise, I sit peacefully liberated from the confusion of church tradition. My wish is that all believers would find such understanding.
