Brianna Robertson has trust issues because of her abusive childhood. She's intelligent, hard-working, resourceful, and has a good life as an investment account manager; but she's alone. Joseph Porter is an ex-military tough guy, who believes giving his heart to someone is a vulnerability he can't afford, so he focuses on work and building his personal fortune.
