This book contains abstracts of the earliest surviving probate records for Bristol County, Massachusetts, part of the original Plymouth Colony and a magnet for colonists with Mayflower connections. The abstracts are a faithful rendering of the wills, inventories, administrators' accounts, receipts, divisions of estates, petitions, guardianships, and other Bristol County probate records, both bound and unbound, which exist for the period 1687 to 1745.
