The present work focuses on the technology acceptance andidentification of factors that influence a successful interaction andadoption of medical assistance technology (eHealth) in homeenvironment, which is meant to support people in an active andhealthy aging.A user-centered research approach was realized to reveal how todesign and adapt such eHealth systems to the individual concepts,needs and demands of the potential users to reach a high acceptanceand an optimal commercial launch.
