Alec Stone was different than anyone Turner Jacobs had ever met in his life. He was confident, almost to a fault, and every domino in his life seemed to fall perfectly into place throughout their adolescent years. After college ended, the love of Alec's life abandonded him for one of her best friends. Through a mountain of despair, Alec and his best friend decide to leave the place they grew up to find some semblance of purpose away from the reminders of hurt. The two friends embark on a journey without a clear cut destination that leads them all over the country in hopes of discovering what a meaningful existence looks like as a twenty something in America.
