Volume 19 if Group III deals with the magnetic properties ofmetals, alloys and metallic compounds. The amount ofinformation available in this field isso substantial thatvolume III/19 had to be split into several subvolumes.Subvolumes III/19a through III/19f treat the intrinsicmagnetic properties, i.e. those properties which depend onlyon the chemical composition and the crystal structure. Sofar, subvolumes III/19a, III/19b, III/19c, III/19d, III/19eand III/19f1 have appeared.Subvolume III/19f covers the magnetic properties of actinideelements and their compounds. Part 1 is concerned with theactinide elements and their compounds with 3d, 4d and5d-elements. The present part 2 contains information oncompounds with main group elements. A comprehensive index ofsubstances for volumes III/19a ... III/19f is included.Data on the properties that depend on the preparation of thesamples measured, as for instance, thin films, amorphousalloys or the magnetic alloys used in technicalapplications, of III/19, viz. III/19g, III/19h and III/19i,of which III/19g, III/19h and III/19i2 have already beenpublished.
