It seems like eons ago, but it was really just moments ago that jumping out of planes, suspended in mid-air by a few pounds of nylon and silk, was a lot of fun. Getting slapped in the face by a release tether, whipping in the wind at 130 miles per hour, feeling it drive through your lip, tearing into your neck was all part of the adventure. It left no scars. Rappelling down that large black rope fastened to the air by thousands of pounds of steel, aluminum, titanium and jet fuel was ok. But dope on a rope, that was great - feeling free, just blowing in the wind. What exhilaration Freedom Then came war. Take my address. Come along with me on the road less traveled.
