Dr Tattersall trained in both adult and paediatric rheumatology in Sheffield and Nottingham and was appointed as a consultant in Adolescent Rheumatology in Sheffield in 2008. She has a particular interest in the long terms effects and treatment of childhood-onset arthritis in adults, empowering young people, families and professionals in healthcare services and the involvement of young people in rheumatology. She is chair of the Barbara Ansell National Network for Adolescent Rheumatology and a member of the Royal College of Physicians Young Adult and Adolescent strategy group.
