When Brady becomes lost in the depths of the fabled Witchita forest, he discovers an amazing secret about the legend that lives there. He hears the familiar sound of his Uncle's bush plane overhead and prays for a rescue, but when all hope is lost, he is surprised by mysterious help in a strange and curious way. Brady never realized that he would play a vital role in the history of the Forest Legend. For thirty years I have worked at my husband's side running our family-owned business in the Pacific Northwest. I am blessed with three beautiful daughters and enjoy being grandma to my four sweet grandchildren. In October of 2008 my life changed when I learned I had breast cancer. From that moment I continued to pray "not my will but Thy will be done." I never questioned God but did ask Him to give me purpose as I traveled this road. While battling a difficult moment from the chemo treatments, I heard my daughter's voice singing "Breath of Heaven." When I prayed for a breath from heaven the Lord answered with the thought of writing this book. During this project I found myself absorbed, distracted and discovering a secret place with the Lord. When my head was foggy and nothing else made sense, I could turn to my writing and inexplicably and completely focus on it. With the completion of this book, it is my hope that young lives will be touched by the Holy Spirit and the awesome power of God.
