African American scientists and inventors have made and are making invaluable contributions to the scientific world. This book identifies African American scientists and inventors that may be unknown to us, but not to those in the scientific community. This book also includes scientific experiments and methods that demonstrate and expand the scientific principles involved. The book is divided into different scientific disciplines, with biographical information, information on their contributions, and other scientists in the same discipline. This book can also serve as a great tool for science teachers to reveal the contributions of African Americans in science during Black History month and beyond.
