After the Flood

In the spring of 2009, heavy rains combined with massive snowmelt cause unprecedented flooding, damage, and loss of life. When the mummified bodies of two Confederate soldiers are discovered at the western foot of Lucifer's Knob, Sheriff Harlan Wheeler is called in right away. The sheriff's girlfriend, the unstoppable Molly Garnier, working on her master's degree in history, sees this as a golden opportunity to investigate a local Confederate legend and his hidden treasure. But during the investigation, two more corpses are found-this time a couple of modern-day spelunkers-and one is riddled with bullets.
