After the Wars: International Lessons From the U.S. Wars in Iraq and Afghanistan: International Lessons From the U.S. Wars in Iraq and Afghanistan

Editat de John A Gentry, William M Nolte, Defense Intelligence Agency (U.S.), National Intelligence University Press (U.S.)
en Limba Engleză Paperback – 16 iul 2018 – vârsta de la 18 ani
This work examines the perspectives of nonstate actors and others involved in long-term foreign security, and policies other than the United States government.  These groups must assess their own implications and lessons learned from U.S. participation in wars involving global security, U.S. policymaking and national interests.   Chapters included within this text focus on a variety of concepts -- strategic, operational, and  tactical-level that may help identify important intelligence issues of future military operations.  Chapter contributors include eight (8) comparative countries' lessons in the areas of domestic political and regional concerns with focus on alliance and domestic political factors, including NATO membership with some major international players as they can offer many valuable insights into the future of international relations.
