Notă biografică
P. K. Joshi is currently the director of the National Centre for Agricultural Economics and Policy Research (NCAP). He has formerly served as the coordinator and research fellow for South Asia at the International Food Policy Research Institute, a principal scientist at NCAP, and a senior economist at the International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics. He has authored or coauthored numerous books and research articles. Ashok Gulati is currently the director of the International Food Policy Research Institute and has served as its director of the markets, trade, and institutions division. In addition to writing and cowriting numerous publications, he is a member of several economic councils. Ralph Cummings, Jr., has served with the U.S. Agency for International Development, The Rockefeller Foundation, and the Harvard Development Advisory Service, as well faculties of several U.S. universities. He has been U.S. representative to the Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research and U.S. Executive Director to the International Fund for Agricultural Development. He has authored, coauthored, or edited six books and numerous published articles.
