Ainslie's Smile: A New Horizon is an inspirational children's book about three siblings who grew up not feeling a lot of sunshine. Rescued from darkness, Ainslie and her two younger siblings are introduced to a family that takes them into their home. The girls are taught to read, play, swim, ride bikes, but most importantly, how to love. Adoption is an amazing process. Ainslie's Smile teaches young minds how to count their blessing everyday. The next morning, we all gathered in the kitchen after breakfast. Ann and James explained the adoption process. She explained that it would take some time but that she and James would do anything to make us a part of their home. She explained that we would see Hap and Sara and her sisters regularly. I looked toward Hap and Sara for approval. Hap scooped me into his lap. "This is your adventure and new horizon, my sweet. You and your sisters deserve our family, and deserve a mom and dad that will sacrifice, love and promise to teach you all about this great beautiful world."
