Alex Darling can't seem to make any friends. He's always angry - getting into fights at school and his little league baseball games - then blames everybody else for his problems. All that is about to change when his wish to run away far from home is granted by a talking oak tree who gives him a magical, golden acorn. After he learns from the tree that he has a mysterious long-lost twin, the power of the acorn takes him on a journey to find his twin.
