C.C. can fly rings around other pilots in the air but once her feet touch the ground no one takes her seriously. By a fluke she maintains her combat status in a war she's not allowed to be in and the military will do just about anything to have her removed from combat including throwing a very big obstacle in her way. He's not what she expected, much more than anyone knows, and to stay one step ahead of him she needs to know more about him.
