Discussions about harvesting embryonic stem cells from human embryos have hitherto failed to lead to any consensus. Yet there have been interesting new turns in the discussiondue tothe development of scientific alternatives that seek to access human pluripotent stem cells in a fashion that is ethically less problematic.
