Notă biografică

David Scott was born in Melbourne, where he attended Melbourne Grammar School. After leaving school early he joined the Argus newspaper while waiting to join the Navy. He became a member of the gun crew on the destroyer HMAS Arunta during the Second World War and was involved in numerous Pacific campaigns. He and his wife, Diana, had three children. Scott was described in his obituary as 'one of Australia's giants of social welfare and social policy'...Carrie Hutchinson lives in Melbourne, where she works as a freelance ghost writer, copy writer and editor.
