Recenzii
This superb, to the point book on dementia should be a frequent 'go to' reference for busy clinicians...highly recommended...
This valuable new book on dementia for the nonspecialist takes, as the title indicates, a 'just the facts' approach. This small book (more of a monograph), written by an experienced clinician in the field and filled with essential details that deftly summarise each of the dementias, would be a requisite reference for primary care physicians.
Anyone looking for an authoritative and informative, yet concise, introduction to dementia would be wise to consult 'Alzheimer's and other dementias' the book should prove invaluable not only to clinicians but also to sufferers and their care givers who want to understand more about dementia and to participate in care related decisions.
This little book, provides a clear outline of the subject. Short, sharp and clearly set out, it would be a useful reference to have on a palliative care ward.
