Notă biografică
Julie Pellissier-Lush is an actress, knowledge keeper, storyteller, and bestselling author. She is the first Indigenous Poet Laureate for PEI, recipient of the Queen's Jubilee Medal, the Meritorious Service Medal, and the Senators 150 metal. Julie helped to script the play Mi'kmaq Legends, performed now for the last 12 years. Her hope is to preserve and share her rich and beautiful Mi?kmaq history and culture. Julie lives in PEI with her husband Rick, her five children, and her granddaughter Miah.
