American Worldview Inventory 2021-22

Autor George Barna
en Limba Engleză Paperback – 20 apr 2022
The American Worldview Inventory 2021-22 is the first-ever national study of biblical and competing worldviews among American adults-and its findings are dire. This stunning new research from veteran researcher George Barna exposes the dramatic loss of biblical belief in American culture, and shows how alternative belief systems-Secular Humanism, Postmodernism, Moralistic Therapeutic Deism, Eastern Mysticism, Nihilism, and Marxism/Socialism-are rapidly filling this void. As Barna shares a number of stunning findings: A majority of Americans (51%) think they have a biblical worldview, but only 6% actually do. A whopping 88% possess a worldview known as "Syncretism," a hodgepodge from multiple philosophies of life. Socialism and Marxism are on the rise-especially among young adults. And Millennials are swelling the ranks of the "Don'ts"-those who don't know, don't believe, and don't care whether or not God exists. As he unpacks the implications of these and other trends, Barna offers perceptive, pointed, and practical insights into how we can restore our nation.
