Descriere

Tam and a dog and a mysterious homeless woman step into the fireplace of a ruined English farmhouse and emerge in the yard of a working farm during WW II. There Tam meets an odd, traumatized girl named May. They soon form a friendship that has a profound impact on their lives--both on 12-year-old Tam and on May, who is the child in the past and the homeless woman in the present.
